ASUS Chromebook C300 goes up for pre-order

 

Following the smaller C200, ASUS has also put its slightly larger and more expensive C300 Chromebook up for pre-order, targeting those who want a bigger display and a greater storage capacity. The estimated shipping time is "end of May."

Unlike the 11.6-inch C200, the C300 Chromebook offers a 13.3-inch display with the same paltry 1366 x 768 resolution. Under the hood lies an Intel Celeron (Bay Trail) dual-core N2830 processor and a couple gigabytes of RAM.

That particular model comes with 16GB of internal storage, but there is also a model available with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, giving buyers more options. 

There's an SD card slot for extra storage, as well as a single USB 3.0 and a single USB 2.0 port. HDMI is available for use with a monitor or TV, and there's a 720p webcam above the display. For the larger size, you're looking at $329.
